Governor Granton Samboja has issued a stern warning to officers in his government who are sleeping on the job.
Samboja announced that there will be reshuffles and dismissal from office of officers who are not performing.
Speaking during the swearing in ceremony of five new County Chief officers today at Wundanyi by the area magistrate Hon. Emily Moraa, Governor Samboja said the executive has to deliver the required services to the residents of Taita Taveta.
Everlyn Shighi Mngoda is the Public Service and Administration C.O , Eng. Sydney Mwalandi Mwakitele is the C.O Public Works and Infrastructure, Isaac Makange has been sworn in as the C.O Service Delivery Unit, Simon Mwachia is the C.O Trade, Cooperative Development, Gender and Social Services whereas Amos Mwakuwona Mwasi has been sworn in to be the Chief Officer Agriculture, Fisheries and irrigation.
The swearing in was witnessed by Deputy Governor Majala Mlagui, CECMs Vincent Masawi, Daniel Makoko, Gertrude Shuwe, Houghton Mombo, Davis Mwangoma. The county assembly was represented by MCA Omar Nguzo, Ahmed Omar, Fundi Maskuji among others.
